About Dr.P.Jayakumar
Dr.P.Jayakumar commonly known as 'Mambalam Jayakumar' by his professional colleagues belongs to the 1967 batch of BDS from the prestigious Madras Medical College (Dental Wing). After successfully completing his graduation he went on to pursue his masters degree in periodontics. Unfortunately, due to a disastrous turn of events at the home front and the resultant financial burden, he was forced to discontinue postgraduation and settle for practice with a BDS degree. After a brief period of consolidation during the early eighties, his career graph has been a steady upward curve much to the delight of his well wishers who stood by him at times of distress.
Ethical / 'feel at home' practice is a passion for Dr.Jayakumar. He believes that every individual deserves the best he can afford in all aspects of life.
Dr.Jayakumar religiously attends CDE (Continuing Dental Education) programs and conferences all around the world to keep himself abreast of the latest developments in the field of dentistry. His practice is purely based on sheer word of mouth gesture by his clients most of whom have been patronising him for generations now!
Apart from being a first generation professional from his family, he is also an avid sportsman whose commendable performances during college days have won him numerous accolades mostly in athletics and volleyball.
At the home front, Dr.Jayakumar heads a family of medical and dental professionals. He is a proud father of 2 dental specialists, Dr.Naveen Jayakumar and Dr.Praveen Jayakumar both of whom possess masters' degrees in faciomaxillary surgery and endodontics respectively.
